U-BOAT UNVEILS THE CHIMERA DAMASCO BRONZE

The audacity continues. Following the success of the celebratory model, a new 300-piece limited edition is born, reinterpreting the Chimera icon in a bold combination of bronze and steel, faithful to the most authentic soul of Italo Fontana’s brand.

Just a few months after the triumph at Watches & Wonders with the exclusive Chimera 25° in gold and titanium, U-BOAT answers the enthusiasm of collectors with a new creation destined to leave its mark: Chimera Damasco Bronze.
A limited edition of 300 pieces that preserves the expressive power and constructive complexity of the commemorative model, reimagined through one of Italo Fontana’s most beloved materials: bronze.

The 46 mm case, crafted from 316L stainless steel, embraces a damascus-steel bezel with its unique, unrepeatable grain, true fingerprints of the material, enhanced by bronze elements that underline its decisive and uncompromising character..

The two-level dial featuring a Clous de Paris pattern adds depth and three-dimensionality, while the blued hands for hours, minutes and seconds, the additional 24-hour counter, and the bronze-tone details play with the light to create a warm, vibrant effect.

As in every Chimera, the high-quality sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment reveals an exceptional mechanical heart: the Swiss ETA 2824 Top Soigné automatic movement, customized and modified according to U-BOAT specifications to ensure precision and long-term reliability.

Completing the construction is the iconic patented left-side crown-protection device, under which sits a second patented button allowing easy crown release, together with the sapphire-crystal caseback, offering a view of the movement and its personalized rotor.
Water resistance up to 100 meters, ensured by the structural through-screws that lock case and caseback together, highlights the technical rigor behind every detail.

The hand-treated Tuscan leather strap wraps the wrist like a distinctive signature. Each watch is individually numbered, making every piece truly unique.
